Julie Starr

Julie Starr has worked in the academic, non-profit and government sectors for over twenty years. In her most recent role as Graduate Student Specialist at the University of Vermont, she advised master’s and PhD students in UVM’s Department of Community Development and Applied Economics. She greatly enjoys working with students, staff, and faculty to advance transdisciplinary research. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish and a Master’s degree in International Development. In her spare time, she enjoys walking in the woods, reading historical fiction, cooking, and traveling. She spends a lot of time thinking about language and aspires to learn a third language someday.
